“Nothing can dim the light which shines from within.” Maya Angelou
Now more than ever, we need to call on our inner light.
But in such difficult times, how do we, stay detached from the negativity around us, uplift ourselves and uplift others?
Light up the Light in Your Heart!
Your inner light might be dim, or it might be bright. But it’s there, ready for you to tap into whenever you want. Simply knowing there is always a spark inside your heart that you can connect with can help you face stressful situations and ignite the process of overcoming challenges.
Connecting with your inner light means getting in touch with your inner wisdom, your intuition, your Higher Self who loves you unconditionally. When you connect to your Heart, the light reminds you to love yourself, to be kind to yourself, and to feel worthy.
What can you do to Light up the Light in Your Heart?
- Find a comfortable space, become still and quiet
- Ground yourself with roots growing strongly into the Earth, until you feel safe, comfortable and supported.
- Bring your focus to your breathing (breath in counting 4, hold for 2 counts, breath out counting 4), bring your mind and body to stillness, just allow thoughts to come and go.
- Now bring Focus on the skies above and bring in Divine White Unconditional Love Light into your Crown, down into your Heart.
- Feel your Heart Glow
- Bring you Focus on your breathing to your Heart (breath in counting 4, hold for 2 counts, breath out counting 4)
- Breathe through your Heart (feel your heart breathing), see the light becoming stronger and bolder as you breathe through your Heart.
Bring divine light in means developing and maintaining a daily practice. Being consistent with a daily light-connection ritual makes you more successful at accessing your inner wisdom, inner strength, and intuition when you need them to guide, assist and support you in your daily life.
Remembering that you are a being of light, and accepting your responsibility, our responsibility, to be a source of light and guidance for others.
Creating a deeper connection with the light that is inside you will eventually make you shine so bright that you will radiate your light to others. Not only will you be able to raise your own vibration, but you will contribute to raising the vibration in the world.
Sharing your light with others can take different forms. If you are a friend, a colleague, a parent, a teacher, a therapist, or a coach, you can actively help people through the work that you do, just being there and being available. You can also make a difference simply by rising and shining, bringing curiosity, wonder, joy, fun, excitement, compassion, understanding and love into your daily life.
By making a practice of maintaining your connection to the light, you make a difference with your being, regardless of what you do, who you are and where you are to yourself, others and our world.
